11th Annual Race for Kids

Light refreshments and water will be available at the start/finish line and rest stops on the route. We will have food trucks on site but if you have special dietary restrictions or needs, please bring your own food or beverages.

This event features a 5K run/walk, 10K run, and Kiddie Fun Run on a brand-new course in Lafayette.

The event serves as a fundraiser for our Level III NICU and Pediatric Therapies. Fundraising supports the purchase of new equipment and upgrades and essential supplies for moms and newborns.

The Health Family Fun Fair at this event will feature family-friendly vendors from the Lafayette community who will share information and demonstrations for attendees. This is free to attend.

Packet Pick-up Details: Runner race packets will be available for early pick up on Friday, June 5^th from 3 – 6PM at the Fleet Feet in West Lafayette. We encourage you to skip the lines on race day and get your packet the day before!

Registration Requirements: All participants ages 3 and up must be registered.

Walk-On Registrations: We gladly accept walk-on walker and runner registrations on the morning of the event. Keep in mind that the Race for Kids is a fundraising event, so we encourage early registration so you have adequate time to fundraise!

Prizes, Awards, & Results

• Prizes will be awarded in each of the following categories:
  • Top 10K Finisher (Male & Female)
  • Top 5K Finisher (Male & Female)
• Age Categories
  • 12 & Under
  • 13 – 19
  • 20 – 29
  • 30 – 39
  • 40 – 49
  • 50 – 59
  • 60 – 69
  • 70+
• All participants will receive a T-shirt, finisher medal, and chip timing

Parking: Parking is available on-site. Please follow event signage.

Weather & What to Wear: Wear comfortable walking or running shoes. Dress in layers so you’re warm at the start/finish lines, and cool during the event. Superhero gear is welcome and encouraged!
