Named in honor of Carmen Freilich, who dedicated her career to supporting women throughout the childbirth experience, this fund will help provide new moms with essential items such as car seats, diapers and other necessities for a safe start to life.
Family Birth Center Fund
This fund provides prenatal and postnatal obstetrical care for those who seek services, regardless of their ability to pay. The dedicated experienced and caring staff members are committed to providing the highest quality of healthcare.
Grace Project
The Grace Project assists families affected by the opiate crisis and has one purpose – deliberate acts of kindness. Your gift can provide formula and diapers, help with bills and enroll mom and dad in parenting classes. Extending grace motivates parents to stay employed, progress in their recovery and give their baby the best possible start in life.
Memories to Hold
Support families in Central Indiana who have lost a child due to miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death. This support group was established with the vision of providing parents a safe and sacred place to share stories of their precious babies. This program is offered free of charge to families.
Neonatal Intensive Care
When babies are born prematurely or with special health needs, they require specialized care. Franciscan Health’s Neonatal Intensive Care units provide the expert care and state-of-the-art technology needed to treat some of the most vulnerable newborn babies. Your gift to this unit is a gift to families in a time of crisis.
Prenatal Assistance Program
Prenatal care is very important for the health of both the expectant mother and her baby. This Northern Indiana program provides vital prenatal care and outreach to expectant mothers with limited family income. Your support gives them pregnancy education and access to public assistance programs, as well as community and hospital services.
Special Care Nursery Fund
When babies are born with more complex health needs, they require specialized care. We help provide the expert services and state-of-the-art technology needed to treat some of the most vulnerable babies. Your gift helps these families in a time of crisis.
