The Franciscan Health Foundation is hosting the inaugural Stars & Steps dance event at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at the Long Center in Lafayette.

Inspired by the excitement of celebrity dance competitions, local community leaders will take the stage alongside dance professionals in a friendly competition, all while raising funds for the Franciscan Health Foundation.

Proceeds from Stars & Steps will support Franciscan Health’s Community Health Improvement initiatives in Western Indiana, which provide vital programs and services throughout the region, including maternal and infant wellness, nutrition education, food access programs, child safety initiatives, CPR and AED training and other community health resources.

Honoring the legacy of the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration, who began their healthcare ministry in Lafayette 150 years ago, support from Stars & Steps helps ensure compassionate care and community outreach continue for generations to come.
