MEET OUR DANCER
TRESSA HEATH

ABOUT ME
Tressa Heath is a CPA, QuickBooks ProAdvisor, wife, and mother of three. Her clients have (unofficially) dubbed her “Lafayette’s Coolest CPA” for her fun-loving personality and authentic communication style. A Lafayette, Indiana native, Tressa is a graduate of Central Catholic High School and Indiana University–Indianapolis, and she’s deeply involved in her community, serving on boards and volunteering with nonprofits including Big Brothers Big Sisters and Squires Baseball & Softball. When she’s not cheering on her kids from the sidelines at their sporting events, she loves serving her clients through her accounting firm, Heath CPA & Associates, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this December. She’s also the author of Accounting: The Super-Duper Fun Part of Starting a Business, which shares the knowledge you need to build a strong foundation when starting a business.
I am dancing because… I’ve always believed the best way to show up for your community is to say yes — even when it’s a little terrifying. This is my chance to step outside the spreadsheets, try something completely new, and support a cause I care deeply about, while (hopefully) not tripping over my own feet.
Support My Stars & Steps Journey
This year, I’m honored to participate in Stars & Steps: Lafayette’s Dance Spectacular, a special event celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Franciscan Health while raising funds to improve the health and well-being of our community. The event honors the extraordinary legacy of the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration, whose vision, compassion, and commitment to serving others led to the founding of the ministry that became Franciscan Health 150 years ago. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re also investing in the future through Franciscan Health’s Community Health Improvement initiatives, which provide critical programs that support families, promote wellness, improve health access, and strengthen lives across Greater Lafayette and Western Indiana. Thank you for helping me celebrate this legacy of service while making a lasting impact in our community.
Every donation helps support Franciscan Health’s Community Health Improvement programs, including:
✅ Support for new mothers and babies
✅ Nutrition education and healthy food access
✅ Child safety initiatives and car seat programs
✅ CPR, AED, and emergency preparedness training
✅ Community wellness and prevention programs
These initiatives continue the mission of caring and service established by the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration more than 150 years ago.
