The Bone Marrow Transplant Patient and Family Assistance Fund provides fully-furnished apartment homes for transplantation patients and their families.

Our assistance extends to those who not only need emotional support, but financial as well. This is all part of why Franciscan Health is at the forefront in the fight against cancer.

That’s why the Franciscan Health Foundation has established the Employee Wellbeing Fund. With this new fund, we will provide outlets for employees to manage and overcome signs of burnout, improve care delivery and supply opportunities for mental escapes encouraging mindfulness, creativity and fun.

For those in need, our food insecurity program ensures healthy food is available in a comfortable, clean and customer-friendly environment in our Fresh Start Market, as well as mobile markets and produce prescription plans.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, one in five deaths in the U.S. is related to heart disease. And early detection is key to saving lives. That’s why the H.O. “Buzz” Hickman Fund for Cardiac Excellence seeks to bring innovative solutions and exceptional cardiac services accessible to rural areas, underserved communities and direct to employers.

Support families in Central Indiana who have lost a child due to miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death. This support group was established with the vision of providing parents a safe and sacred place to share stories of their precious babies. This program is offered free of charge to families.

This cancer survivorship program in Central Indiana cares for the whole person - mind, body and spirit - during and after cancer treatments. Our 5,000+ Franciscan Health nurses serve on the front lines of patient care by providing safe, compassionate, quality care to patients and their families. But the field of nursing is ever changing, and it is critical that our nurses receive continuing education. That’s why we created the Nursing Excellence Fund. Spiritual care is at the core of our mission and values. Your gift supports training and professional development for Franciscan Health chaplains. This fund also helps our chaplains respond to patients who lack financial resources for necessities like clothing and transportation.
